Dear Mr. Jamal Omar,
Envoy of the Secretary General of the United Nations
Based on the humanitarian and moral role assigned to you, and based on the human rights conventions, and international laws, which provide the right to people ,individuals and groups to protest and demonstrate and express their opinion, we would like to draw your attention to what is happening in Yemen. In our youth peaceful revolution, we went out as peaceful protesters, and the presence of armed forces surrounding us does not mean by any way that we deviated from our peaceful concept.
We also want to highlight the weakness that Yemen suffers from in the field of civil society and media, monitoring and documenting human rights. Furthermore, international organizations including the United Nations seemed more passive towards this. All of this made the revolution seem more of armed clashes than a peaceful revolution. Between that and all the interventions in the situation of Yemen, the peaceful revolution will begin to fall.
Therefore, we hope the International Organization will deal responsibly towards establishing the principles of democracy and upholding human rights, and monitor the situation on the ground and all what the youth have been suffering during the peaceful revolution along with the Yemeni citizens in general. In addition, we are requesting the pressure on all parties to end the spread of all forms of armed forces especially armed civilians in private camps that have been sponsored by the regime to kill peaceful protesters.
We are calling on your International organization not to get involved in any immoral settlement for it may lead to blocking the way in front of the Yemeni youth leaving them with no options and exposing them to extremism, after all their sacrifices that are still continuing until this moment.

بناء على الدور الإنساني والأخلاقي المنوط بكم، وارتكازا على اتفاقيات حقوق الإنسان، والقوانين الدولية، التي تنص على حق الشعوب أفرادا ومجاميع في الاحتجاج والتظاهر والتعبير عن الرأي، نود لفت نظركم لما يحدث في الساحة اليمنية، نحن شباب الثورة السلمية خرجنا باحتجاجات سلمية، ووجود المجاميع المسلحة المحيطة بنا لا تعني أبدا تحولنا عن نهجنا السلمي.
كما نلفت نظركم للضعف العام الذي تعانيه اليمن في مجال المجتمع المدني والرصد والتوثيق الحقوقي والإعلامي، وتقصير المنظمات الدولية بما في ذلك الأمم المتحدة تجاه هذا الأمر، مما يبدي الأمر وكأنه مواجهات مسلحة، وبين كل التداخلات في المشهد اليمني، وهذا التقصير، تسقط ثورتنا السلمية.
وعليه نتمنى من المنظمة الدولية أن تتعامل بمسؤولية تجاه إرساء مبادئ الديمقراطية وإعلاء حقوق الإنسان، وتعمل على رصد الحالة الميدانية لما يعانيه شباب الثورة السلمية وعموم اليمنيين، وان تعمل على الضغط على جميع الأطراف برفع المظاهر المسلحة للجيش بجانبيه وللمدنيين المسلحين وخاصة معسكرات المدنيين المسلحين المحميين من قوات الجيش والأمن الموالية للنظام الذين عاثوا قتلا في المعتصمين والمحتجين، بما يسمح لنا من انجاز ثورتنا السلمية والتغيير الذي نبغيه لليمن.
ونهيب بمنظمتكم الدولية من التورط في أي تسوية لا أخلاقية، قد تؤدي لإحباط شباب انسدت أمامهم كل الأفق، مصدرة إياهم إلى سبل التطرف، بعد كل تضحياتهم التي ليس أخرها ما قدموه خلال اليومين الأخيرين.
